New designs for Fancy Pants: pockets and buttons!

   Here are some new Fancy Pants for Plants in the “leather hard” stage of creation.  After they dry like this, they will be fired in the kiln, then cooled, glazed, and fired again to 2300 degrees F.  Then they get matched up with the right plants, and planted!

Village Venture tomorrow in Claremont

This should be lots of fun.  Ceramic Services has a booth on Second Street between Yale and Harvard, and my Fancy Pants for Plants will be there waiting to go home with new owners.  

AMOCA Biennial – Opening is August 10th from 6 to 9 PM.

The American Museum of Ceramic Art (AMOCA) in Pomona, CA is having a new exhibition beginning August 10th, 2013, called the AMOCA Biennial. I am very honored to have this raku box juried into the exhibition.

The Arboreteum Show

The show at the Arboretum last weekend was lots of fun.  I was in the very good company of Lynn Hendricks and Betsy Miller.  My newest pieces, whimsical Raku houses and pets, good for putting in outdoor planters or as sculptural pieces, were well received.
